In the past I’ve heard some elk making some noise around this time. Anyone hearing any yet? Curious if they will be late this year

Buddy of mine just hiked the PCT from Chinook to White Pass. He said the boys were singing up there all night.

2 this morning nothing but locate bugles

Heard at least 2 maybe 3 chuckle early this morning.

Heard one crack off when I was in suncadia the morning of the 28th

First one I heard this season was 08/28.
Saw the first bull pushing cows on 09/01.

Behind my house, yesterday morning, 9/6, about 7:30 AM. Near Maple Valley.

Things are picking up over here in MT. Lower pressure system rolling through today-Sat to help break the heat should only help. Heading out tonight for a few days solo

Called in several over the weekend in Idaho to include a 350ish guy who was more than willing to carry on his side of the conversation.

Listening to them sing out my living room window right now. They're a little ways off but I can hear at least two different bulls.

Heard a few from my porch the other night.

Had a nice 5 point that wouldn't leave me alone two days in a row (2 miles apart) last wkd while deer hunting. He was out cruising for cows, tearing up trees, and wallowing.
