I was lucky enough to draw my first tag in Idaho after putting in for years. I drew one of the hunt number 4002 tags. Just wondering about a good starting point and places to camp. Appreciate anyone who will share. Good Luck out there this year!

That's a great tag to draw hopefully you find a good one.

You can camp on the Lemhi river just up HWY 28 out of Leadore. Nice little camp spot with real good fishing too!

Thanks, will look into it. Appreciate the info. Just hoping for a buck, looking forward to the adventure!

I don’t have any good info for you but I live in Salmon, if you need anything let me know. Good luck!

Don’t shoot the first buck you see.

Thanks 350, appreciate the offer. I will try and hold off and not shoot the first buck I see. Just hopping for a nice representation of the species.
