Title: Fresh track
Post by: coonhunter on November 15, 2007, 07:34:29 PM: Hey my wife heard on news and told me there is snowy over cascade mountain so I decide at first am I crazy? so why not to scout around all night last night finally found MOST fresh track! :IBCOOL: Appox100 to 120 my guess It was almost 2 to 4 half inches up top mountain, It make me excited! I like finding all tracks. ;) I will post more if I find more. :chuckle:

Went three days scout for tracks. I went first and 2nd NOTHING! Then yesterday FINALLY found better place. two top pic was appox my guessing 110 to 150 who knows. 3rd and 4th pic was a mother with two kittens. My guess kitten was appox 20 to 50 I am not sure :dunno: but how cool kitten walking on mother's track. :IBCOOL: anyway I gotta more to scout out... will post more if I found some more.

What do you think. >:( I could have catch if I have snowmobile. :chuckle:
I had to put snowchains on cuz it was almost 8" new snow from last night.
It was fun again afternoon. :drool:

last year I went up with a buddy who got draw for five county, 2nd day I was freeze to death in tent at 10 degree and I woke up two buddies and I lied to them, DAMN IT its cold and its 6 clock get work. but really it was 330am :chuckle: and I fooled them and we hop in truck scout and I found fresh track it was almost 300 yds from our tent the permit buddy say NO WAY your kidding me. I said wanna me threw my dogs. HE said NO NO ITS MINE TAG! LET me check it myself! He happen to look close with flashlight HE said hurry turn loose before other hunter come out. We saw four hunter trucks with dogs out here same road and they NEVER NOTICE those track and we got it first! it was funny.

Post by: bankwalker on November 27, 2007, 08:21:40 PM: i was up around taenum creek sunday afternoon/night and cut alot of cougar tracks. looked to be a couple cats in the area. one set was a single and another was a couple cats.

was up around cabin creek tuesday on the late season opener and cut one set of cougar tracks, also same day down by teanum (other side of the hill as sunday's tracks) and cut one set of cougar tracks and every step was inside a hunters tracks. SCARY STUFF!

i know i will be up after cats this spring before the march 31 deadline

I only have one regret in my life and that would be dropping out 2 weeks into my Senior year. Dumbest thing I ever did. But I was sooo smart and knew it all. Don't be a dummy, my friend, please stay in scholl, if you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life, no matter how well you make it.

Coonhunter, your more then welcome to bring your dogs over and hunt lions with me this winter. As long as your a WA resident and have a lion permit you are allowed to use your dogs with mine and make as many trees as you want. It's a open invitation my friend.

I would wait till your not too BUSY with frineds, your family to go hunt with. just email me when they are tired of going with you!!! I am avaible after 3rd week of dec all way until march 15. I will be happy to join. Ya do you get package with three pass to give limit hunter to go with u. Is it true? last year a buddy has three pass bright Yellow pass for me and a another buddy to go with a draw permitt guy. how many pass do you have? two or three? what color this year?
