Title: old buck
Post by: boneaddict on October 12, 2022, 07:46:34 AM
I was revisiting old pics this morning and came across this fellow.  Even though this isnt a fresh pic, I thought I'd post it up for those that dont remember him or who didnt buy a calendar.  This might be one of the oldest bucks I have ever filmed.  Usually old bucks like this dont hang around.  I have most certainly seen a couple I wish I had captured on film.   I assumed he wouldnt make the winter, but I did see a photo of him the from the following year.  That particular winter was mild.   I wish there was a like button to know if anyone cares to see this crap or if I am wasting my time and youd rather get back to talking covid or Pelosi.

If I see you posted....I look, hoping it's a picture.  A "Like" button would be awesome.

I love old bucks with character.  I would shoot that buck over a 150" symmetrical 4x4.  Thanks for posting.

Keep posting Bone always enjoy your work. So that's what regression looks like. Heard of it but never saw it on a deer. Its like a miniature version of his hay day. Thanks for sharing!

If there was a like button for your photos I’d wear that button out!

Nothing cooler than old mule bucks in my opinion.

If I had a nickel for each time I heard people say “yeah this is an old regress buck” and it actually was I’d have about 10 nickels

I'm sure the lack of height makes a little optical illusion but those bases are thick! Love it, post up all your super old buck photos and I'll drool over then.

These are those pics.  As stated in the fine print in the top post “revisiting old photos, these are not freshies.”

Like and Thumbs Up

Thank you for every picture that you are able to sneak into, take and then post for us keyboard jockeys.  You have got to be an excellent bow hunter.

I appreciate every one of them.

Thanks for posting your pics! I also wish there was a like button! I’ve enjoyed seeing every photo you’ve posted. Also appreciate your perspective on topics you reply to as well. As for discussing Covid or any politician, NO THANK YOU! I’m here for the hunting and fishing! There’s enough of the other BS out there already.
