Serial number was never there to remove.

This has profound consequences!

Gun laws as written are all "Un-Constitutional". The 2A is very easy to understand, if you can't, get a good dictionary out and learn the words and their meanings. There are very few men these days who can hold a candle to those who wrote and debated the "words" they put into the Constitution!!
There is a lot of "laws" that need removed/overturned!
But alas, the moral fiber of this country has been fading fast lately!

Trying to say all these new laws popping up to stop "ghost guns.
Most guns that are made at home never had a serial number to begin with.
Was or is perfectly legal at the time of build to build your own guns as long as for personal use and no sale.
Basically they are trying to take your right to own a gun that doesn't have a number .

If you read the article, the basis of the case was pre 1960s guns never had serial numbers and were legal and protected under the second amendment. So if they never had them for years and years and ot was okay then not should be okay now.
Side note The Constitution protects the right to manufacturer your own guns for personal use so how could they enforce a gov serial number?

Lol we were typing basically the sane thing at the same time
-
There just trying to take your right to own a gun without a number.
Glad to see it's unconstitutional.

The article and ruling addressed guns where the SN was removed, a different things than guns made pre 1968

I did read it .
And agree the artical is about guns that the number is removed. If they could push for guns that have them removed. It would be just one step away from baning all guns with no number.
I still consider it a win.

How do you know when it was made when there is no serial number. You can only go on the guess of when it was made. So you claim that the gun you have was made before 1968! Problem solved.

Some guns received SN’s much earlier, and some guns were never made without serial numbers
