It is a no go for goat.
-
No draw for my brother-in-law (even after checking mutiple times).
-
I drew for moose in area 1 from oct 1 to oct 14 don;t know anything about the area so any help would be greatly appreciated.
-
Wow! After buying Idaho's nonresident hunting license for the last 11 years, it looks as if I finally get to put it to use. I just found out I drew a unit 75 moose tag! Time to fill the freezer.

Welcome to the site Bryan. Good luck on your hunt.
-
You drew well buckhorn. You'll ahve a great hunt.
-
Thanks boneaddict.
I've always applied in Idaho for a unit 11 rocky tag but I thought this year might be a good one to slide in for a chance at moose. Looks like it paid off.

Nice thing about no points, there is always next year for 11 as long as you have the 2100.

Nice Bryan! When is the season? Should I charge up the vid cam?
-
Ramslam, you are always welcome to come on any of my hunts. Aug30th-Nov 23rd with only 5 tags for the unit. Andy, Clint, Tom have all signed on IF their schedules fit. It should be a great hunt.

I'm still debating on teh CHurch for a moose. There are always left over tags. Them dang moose are a little heavier than a sheep to pack out though.
-
looks like 12-3 has 1 tag leftover, 12-4 has 2, 16A has 2, 19 and 20A have 1 apiece and that appears to be it bone
-
Wow, people are getting desperate.
-
16A...
-
Here you go Star, it will look something like this  I have two that sit side by side in the garage, this one with moose and the other one with elk and deer.
-
My son drew a moose tag in 78. He is pretty excited.
-
Thats cool. Do you guys guide down that way at all?
-
Yes, Units 73,74,75,77, and 78 are all part of my outfitting area.
-
got the big ZILCH in Id, Ut, and probably MT, OR, and WA....oh well still got otc elk in ID, and OR.
-
Congrats to the guys that drew. Leftover tags for moose? I didn't know there was such a thing (that's why I love this site. I swear I learn something new every day). Are they poor areas?
-
access i think is what makes them tough...like the church...seriously deep

No, just hard to access.

Ok, I see. That makes sense. I have heard about the Church.
-
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to pack a moose out of there.

Ive never shot a moose, so I am probably just stupid enough to try it. Maybe this is what I should put in for next year. I didn't realize that if I didn't get drawn, there would be an opportunity for leftovers. Might be able to wrangle a horse and talk a buddy as stupid as me into it too... :chuckle:
I remember when I was a kid hearing from a neighbor that hunted a lot; "You only go moose hunting every 5 years. Because it takes you 5 years to forget how miserable it was to haul your last moose out of the woods." :chuckle:

...that and it takes that long to eat one

Does anyone know when we get our refund? It's been a while...
-
If you put it on your credit card they usually just credit it. Watch your statement. If by check, not sure what they do. They seem to drag their feet way longer than other states.
-
I got mine on the 16th posted to my BOA CC :dunno: I think they go first in first out...last year I was credited on the 2nd but I also applied earlier.
-
i finally got my refund yesterday
