Post by: jrebel on October 28, 2022, 08:06:22 AM: Maybe that’s why I only get wolves at the property one or twice per year……bucause I’m running a cougar retreat. I have cats on cam all the time. I need more wolves now so the cats will stop eating the deer and can instead eat the dogs. 😂😂

This if fact. When the cats show up....the deer flat disappear. That's the easiest way for me to tell if a cat is close....no deer on trail camera for a week.

I had a cat on game cam 2 weeks ago, no deer within a couple days. so I'd second your statement. The following week I had a black bear on my cam (same area), there were deer the day before and after (possibly same day but can't recall for sure). just my limited observations.

either way I've been getting way too many pictures of predators... selkirk 113.

However, like Bone said most the time I imagine there is more than one and then the cats going to lose.
