I know last year you could turn over special hunts for your points back. Is this still the case? If so how do you do it? I can't find any info on the website.
I have a late archery cow tag this year I will not be able to hunt.

It has to be 2 weeks before the start of the hunt. I would contact Olympia directly, or better yet go to the regional office.

See page 16 in the Big Game regulations.
(Under "General Information")
It says to contact the Wildlife Program at (360) 902-2515.
And as posted previously, it needs to be two weeks before your season opens.

You have to mail in the permit they sent you with a point restoration written on it. I did it this year.

It's actually easy and a good program, my son did it this year since we had two hunts the same week. Call in, they mark it on your account somehow and then you mail the permit in. Points were restored right away.

WOOO talk about timing, hunt starts the 23rd so today was the last day. Got ahold of DFW at 4 pm and they said where to mail, got to the post office about 5 minutes before they closed at 4:30 to make sure it was stamped today.
Honestly, I had exchanged the same tag last year (that time because I was successful in the early season) but had forgotten the process. I thought it was an online system.
Thanks for the help!
