Last full day out in the bush. Then I can come home and start posting pics. :chuckle:
I nicknamed this buck “The faceplant buck”, though I do have another buck that had that name as I watched him do a faceplant. Different story.
I was stalking in close and was busting through a snowdrift and got tangled up in barbed wire. Camera went in the deep, and my face hit the camera. I had good sense enough not to fight the wire as I lay on my face. I got untangled, two wires in front of leg and two in back then I made sure the viewfinder and lens were clear, found my glasses in the snow and commenced the stalk. Not why he is looking, but the rest of the story.

Fog needs to lift soon or there won’t be much photo action.

 Great photo as always! I think this one belongs in the Fenceline thread for a couple reasons! https://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,185688.150.html

There's definitely a mocking look in his eyes :chuckle: Great photo and beautiful buck!

I feel like I have given that look to both of my boys when they were younger and they made too much noise dragging their feet when we were hunting... :chuckle:
