i was about 50 with the first one. I was using a doubler. A decrease in photo quality but does help bring them closer.
The second i was at about 35. I got a few frames before he woke up and then gone in a jump

Some of it is for my benefit so I can blow it up and see what I am looking at. (viewfinders are oftly small), and to share with you all. Most love it when I say I saw a big one tonight. They are "yeah sure you did, pics or it didnt happen." :chuckle: THat photo was about 300 yards but cropped to bring in the image. Photo quality bites the dust.

Two things that help, one is when they think they are hiding from me, and second is if they are just plain tired from chasing girls. :chuckle:
