For Sale! (Boy, I hardly ever do that anymore! Hopefully more often now!)
$125 + $10 postage = $135
Joel 3:10 speaks of beating plowshares into swords… loosly interpreted meaning, prepare for war.
Well, how about beating plowshares into skinning knives? Prepare to harvest meat?!?!
Yeah, let’s go with that!
Slightly tested… skinned and partially broke down a grass-fed steer with this skinner! Then got it back out to the shop and freshened it back to new!
Former plowshare. Forged and ground. Forge to oil heat treated. Brazillian rosewood grip. Brass pins. Full coverage sheath.
OAL 7”, Cutting Edge 2.5”
Razor sharp, holds an edge extremely well, steel requires cleaning and drying type maintenance.
Super comfortable and beautiful scalpel style handling.
Cross Posted, first “I’ll take it” by time stamp wins!
Thanks for looking!

Did I win

I was just about to email you to see if you had any knives for sale. I want to get a nice knife for my SOn in law for Christmas. The other knife guy didn’t respond to me, and I’d rather have one of yours anyways. I just wasn’t sure you were still in the market

I’m primarily a one-child preschool administrator, but yeah, I’m still here!
Sold to Boneaddict!

How’d that anvil work out for ya?

Cool knife, Steve.
Bone, I bet your SIL will love that knife.
-
Bone, you and your SIL will not be disappointed. Steve's skinners are the real deal. I don't even remember how many of his discount skinners I bought. They have skinned a lot of critters, big and small. Sharpen up like a razor too.

Very fun to make this knife, thanks for the comments.
Wife is laid up a little from a minor accident so she'll be - fmla - home to take care of some of the, "Where the heck did that kid go..." I mean, "Homeschool Preschool Administration." for me... so I'm hoping to get into the shop a little bit during December. Good time to hit me up if you've been wanting anything...
Also... Thanks for reminding me, NRA... I handed the budget skinner builds off to my older son, Alex, and he'll be done with his first quarter of college next week, so he'll probably be able to do some budget skinners if anyone is interested. He's got a truck to repair, but I may motivate him to also get a batch of budget skinners done.
Thanks again!

is it weird it makes me feel old that bone has a son in law?

I’m the old man of the family now.
I have a knife Steve made for me many years ago. Cocobolo. Pretty much a custom to match my bow. I was thinking about giving it to him, but rather not. Lol. This was perfect timing!
