Hey Y’all… I ordered a Kuiu Chugach TR jacket during their last sale and followed the sizing guide (Mine called for one size bigger than normal) and when getting it, it’s fitting really loose, plenty for layering and then some but I’m wondering if anyone else feels:
1) The Chugach TR fits more true to size?
2) If it’s worth sending back for the next size down or better to air on the side of too big for an outer layer versus fitting tighter? Any real drawbacks of a rain shell being too loose?
I did shoot my bow with it and it wasn’t too baggy to draw back and shoot but the arms are really big on it. I live on the west side and do a mix of backcountry mulie and wet day-hunting for black tails as well as rowing drift boats for steelhead.
Thanks in advance.

I had the chugach and did not order one size up it fit snug but it was stretchy
I don’t see a problem with it being a little loose for layering as long as it doesn’t affect your shooting
I have the Sitka cloudburst now and it is a little loose but I can get a warm layer under it when needed

I’d much rather have a little loose than too tight.
