Title: Wenaha Spring Bear
Post by: longear on May 25, 2009, 09:00:56 PM: Hey my name is Jason and this is my first post to the site. Skinner and JoeVon got me into the site. I'm from Kid Valley and like to hunt all animals in the state! Here is a pic of my spring bear that I got last weekend.

Post by: longear on May 26, 2009, 06:20:26 PM: First thank you for your positive feedback, to those of you looking for the story, my dad and i had just arrived where we were going to hunt for the weekend, barely had camp setup, and took off. I had found a good vantage point the weekend before and wanted to start there. We had only been glassing for about 2 minutes when my dad whistled and told me he had a bear spotted. We were able to get to 400yds and close the deal. Being my first WA bear I am very happy to take a color phase and to have my dad there was icing on the cake, doesn't get much better than that! Thanks again for welcoming a newcomer.
