So I recently purchased a 52 cal knight I’m trying to sort out what bullets to shoot my understanding is with the sabots I have I can shoot any.458 cal bullet. Is this true? I’m currently looking at Hornady 325x.458 flex tip and also Lehigh has a few offerings in .458 including the extreme penetrator I would appreciate any feedback or personal experiences with the 52 cal muzzloader

Siler is 458 and magenta is 475.
But yes, you are basically right. Very limited options for bullets outside of Leigh. You could shoot any bullet, but if bullets designed for high powered rifles are used, they aren't going to work very well. Many need a velocity minimum to expand.

Bloodlines are great bullets. Try 250 to 300 grains.
