PHOTO OF THE MONTH CONTEST June 2009
Please enter your favorite photo into our photo of the month contest.
New Topic this MONTH I've been getting lots of requests and pms about having this as a contest. Well boys and girls, here is your chance. Shutterbugs, you get to take a break this month. This months topic is TRAILCAM pictures. I'm going to assume that the entrant is the one who set the camera up, and it has to have been taken within the LAST YEAR or within the last 12 months to be more clear.
-Photo size MUST be 800x600 pixels or LESS Most violated rule
-2 entries per contestant are allowed per month. If more than 2 entries are submitted the first two elegible ones will be the ones accepted for the contest.
-Entries must be submitted by midnite of the 26th of the current month in order to qualify for that Months contest.
-Photos of Washington material will receive preference in judging as the winner will be posted on the front of a Washington site.
-Previous Photo of the month entries will not be eligible for this months contest
-The winner of the previous months contest is not eligible for the next months contest.
-Entries will be accepted or rejected as is, meaning the judges will no longer enhance, or alter images. Resizing is legal if you can talk a moderator into doing it for you.
The photos will be evaluated by a panel of Judges made up of all the moderators. The winner (NO TIES) will be announced as soon as we come to a majority decision.
The Winner will have their photo posted on the front page

Does the species in the picture matter?
Since species doesn't matter I will use this one!!
Brandon
-
Nothing special, but at least its "American".
-
Looking at how fuzzy these photos are just made me realize what a crappy trailcam I have... :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
No luv2hunt. Just has to be taken with your trail camera. Hell, you can even run around with it I suppose. LOL I would think Washington material would get preference over say a warthog or something.
-
I have a winner, I told you that he was real :chuckle:
-
Okay these are my actual entries for the month, they where taken in Ferry country, the camera is on the tree below my tree stand :chuckle:
-
that deer on the left has a f'ed up eyeball man. i would think about switching stand locations. :chuckle:

"GOLDIELOCKS & THE THREE BEARS!"
This mother and three cubs have been visiting my cams for a couple of weeks...also visited the neighbor's house while he was home and terrorized him for about 3 hours trying to get at his 3 dogs that were kept inside! These pictures were taken near Colville just a couple of weeks ago
-
It was hard to choose just two.

If someone could "redeye" those fighting elk, I think we'd have a leader...
-
I like Wildwoman's Pic of the cubs in a row. My pic so far
-
I'm surprised this is all of the submissions. I took way more requests to have this as a contest than we have entries so far. Whats up folks?
-
some are protective of their pics I guess.
-
Here's my local resident blacktail from last summer. I saw him last night and he has already forked.

My vote is for Slider, that is an awesome trail cam pic. Nice bull toooo.

Here's some pics of whitetails - my favorite big game animal.
The first pic is of a nice buck that came into our yard one night during our bowhunt. You can see our cabin in the background. There were 6 bowhunters sleeping inside.
The second pic is of two bucks that I have been hunting for a few years with no luck. They hang out together every summer.

Congratulations wildwoman, your first bear picture takes the contest. It may not be as exciting as being the first black president, but I think you are the first gal to win this contest. Congratulations! In this case clarity or crispness wasn't as much of a factor as subject matter in determining the winner. Very cool picture.
-
Congrats!!! :hello:
-
Congrats !! Great photo.
-
COngratulations Wildwoman!!! You have broken the glass ceiling!! (H Clinton, S Palin and G Ferraro are all green with envy..)
