Not bound to a collapsible or fixed, though I do currently have a commercial buffer tube. Have had magpul before but was curious what others like? I am not a huge AR guy so just seeing what is new and liked. The AR it is going on will wear optics and is primarily used at the range with a rifle length barrel.

My only beef with magpul is my whiskers get yanked out all the time, annoying!
-
Pretty happy with my B5 Enhanced SOPMOD’s :twocents:
-
SOPMOD or an A2
-
If fixed cheaper side, I have been going luthAr. Higher end Mapul prs.
If I go collapsible cheaper magpul ctr or higher end ubr.
-
I have the STR on mine and it’s pretty nice. It’s the same as CTR but has little storage compartments.
-
Check these out. I have the “Blackwood” on my .410 AR.

Always went with the mission first tactical on my builds. So far so good..
-
Mission First Tactical Battlelink is my favorite and I own about every different Magpul one made.

Since you mentioned this ^^^ for that kind of use, of the different ones that I have, I like the MagPul PRS the best. They cost more and are a little heavier but for a range gun I'll take fit over lightweight every time. https://magpul.com/prs-gen3-precision-adjustable-stock.html?mp_global_color=118

If you don’t mind spending money go with the XLR… they make a great one and it balances your AR out as they are not light and this is a benefit
-
Not an AR pro but I do like the one I have because it is mostly a walkabout for yotes. 10 round mag in the mag well, more convenient imo, plus the additional 10 rounder in the stock. Mine appears to be quite well made and looking at their web page I see others Id like as well.

I have one AR. It wears a Magpul PRS3. Heavy, but fits right.
Really like the Calvin Elite single stage trigger, too. Previously, my issues with ARs were fit and 2 stage triggers. The Timney is legit.

I have the Hogue A2 length fixed. for the loooong gun look. I love it. My favorite buttstock.
-
I ended up going with the Magpul PRS lite. Adjustable pull and cheek height without looking all fancy.
Bought it for both of my long rang AR's. Love it
-
I'm probably on my own here, but I'm into the laminated wood stock look. Looks a little M-16, a little modern, definitely a cleaner look than all the Lego stocks.
-
I ended up going with the Magpul MOE fixed carbine stock. I also bought a mission first collapsible. I really like simple and light weight. So far, I really like the MOE fixed carbine....solid as a rock and easy to shoot.
-
I'm putting together my first AR10 and went with a magpul MOE rifle stock, just got it and the rest of the stuff, gotta put it together now, we'll see, may go prs lite since it's not just a range/precision rifle? Lots to learn, I liked the rifle A2 stock since it's a .308. I kinda like those laminated stocks too Skillet.

I have the Rogers Super Stock collapsible on my AR's. I really like it. It locks on the tube for zero movement and no rattles.

If you have a long barrel covered with rails, the PRS helps balance the rifle...and it is heavy.

That is phenomenal, I love it. I would love to build an AR-15 in that fashion.
-
:yeah: That looks really cool. Is it solid except for the buffer channel?

Nope, not alone. Here's my AR-9 with Boyd's stock and pistol grip with Black Wood Trading Company rail covers.
