Title: Exhaust leak
Post by: fast60eddie on March 17, 2023, 09:53:23 PM
The exhaust pipe from the turbo has rusted out. Can I get some recommendations for some professional work to get a repair? It’s a 2002 f350 7.3 4”. I am sure I should try it myself. Located near I405 & I90 but willing to travel for quality work.
Thanks

We use Brandon at Dan Fast in Bellevue for anything aftermarket. Always have good experiences. They’re closed on Mondays. I think they’re open today.

Not sure about the '02 but my '09 had an exhaust leak on the left manifold and it ended up being a cab off job. Have fun! :chuckle:

You're referring to the "down pipe" I assume.  Pretty simple.  Single section of pipe from the turbo to the main exhaust run.  Clamp at each end.  It you turn wrenches it is straight forward.

Well after a coolant pump and timing belt on the Subaru I figured I would handle the truck  exhaust bought a MBRP turbo back kit and did it myself.

Thanks for the replies
