Title: Cinnamon Rolls
Post by: NOCK NOCK on April 10, 2023, 12:21:39 PM
Sooooo.... In your travels, where have you found the best ones?

For me,
#1 was at the Stehekin Bakery, The size of a paper plate and deeeeeelicious!

A very close #2 was a recent discovery of Sultan Bakery. That make em in large muffin style cups. Great bread taste, lots of gooey in the middle, and just the right amount of icing.

Stuffy's in Longview makes paper plate size bacon ones...... not sure how good they are but look great !  Probably 10,000 calories.  Used to be a place in Cle Elum years ago that was known for there's.

Duft Bakery in Abbotsford, BC.  You will thank me.

And if you are on your way to Alaska, look for a sign for cinnamon rolls along the Tetsa River, I'm guessing 40 miles east of Summit Lake.  An outfitter's wife makes them in their log house just off the highway.  Superb, and doubly superb that far from nowhere.

I dont know where the best ones are but, any leftover cinnamon roll smashed flat, dipped in egg and fried makes the BEST french toast ever!

I have been on a kick making them, but am going to slow that down because I like eating them too.
Buttered Biscuit in Sumner, if it is still there, were good. Also had butter covered cornbread that was wonderful.
