I am at either 9 or 10 points that why I figured I have 0% chanceThing is if you’ve been buying points only you’ve wasted money, they give so few tags that anybody who isn’t at or close to max right now just needs to apply and hope to get lucky in the random. Look at them as lottery tickets. No different than applying for sheep/goat/moose in Washington

Just randomly pick a unit, odds are you wont draw anyway. Don't give it too much brain power. If lightening strikes and you do end up drawing the Oh #$%$ factor will just go up knowing you don't have a clue what units you put in for.
:yeah: pretty much how I roll, I figure drawing a tag is way harder than finding a sheep or goat in a crappy unit anyways :chuckle: just send it

I do agree with this strategy if you apply for oil in multiple states. Forgot 1 important thing
Once you draw make sure you get on every hunting forum you have never been on. Post something like “I I have never been to this unit or state. However I have been e-scouting and researching online. Not afraid to burn some boot leather but won’t set eyes on the unit until the 3-4 days of vacation I have for this tag. I can’t believe I drew this tag and just want to do it justice. Not asking for honey holes but I will take them! Pm me” seems like forum members really appreciate these posts 😂😂😂😂

All the sheep hunts are solid. All 7 non resident tags between both species :chuckle:Karl, how good do you think the desert hunts really are. Would probably rather by one of those, get the tax deduction and have the money go to conservation as opposed to going to Mexico. I am already booked down there but have been really contemplating the strategy. Might be too late, but in the end, my guess is here you would be slightly less trophy quality most likely, maybe a bit more money but close, but a whole lot safer staying in the states.
