Yep and it helps that I already know the sub unit pretty well! Lots of moose and moose sign when I was putting out cameras and fishing last Saturday.

I like the sounds of that. I have friends who live just west of there and ride side by sides there occasionally. I can leave my travel trailer and side by side there for the season. The moose hunt is August 30th - November 23rd and the Wyoming goat hunt is September 1st - October 31st. I don't think I'll be home much. :)

My back yard buddy! Which one did you get date wise? If you need any help let me know, we literally put hundreds of miles in it running our dogs. Last year there was a couple up in our area in the 50” range. My wife’s up in it daily.

I live here in 5 and drew that tag in '18, the hunting is very tough right now for bull moose here and was then as well. 15 years ago this was a great hunt, not anymore sadly. fyi, The CDA tribe has their own hunt and that complicates things greatly.

Two bull permits out of the 10 available. What are the chances of that ever happening!!!!!!

I live here in 5 and drew that tag in '18, the hunting is very tough right now for bull moose here and was then as well. 15 years ago this was a great hunt, not anymore sadly. fyi, The CDA tribe has their own hunt and that complicates things greatly.

I had that tag when I was young and dumb. I found a giant in unit 1 on August 30th. If only I knew then what I know now…

I just need to stop donating money 😂 There are those that draw and those that don’t. Buddy that got it got a great elk tag last year, his first year as an Idaho resident 😝 Either way I’m stoked for him 🤙🏻

You can add 2 more unsuccessful residents to your list 😂 me and my son both failed on that tag. It’s a tougher draw than it should be for that hunt. I think last time I looked draw odds were 1-2 percent for resident.
