Well, we had a hell of a day in the Colorado big game draw!
Here's how it goes.
Dad - Cow elk tag
Brother - Doe tag & cow elk tag
Me - Buck tag & Bull tag
Very very excited!
We all will be using traditional muzzleloaders, shooting real black powder and patched round balls from our 54s!
We're also high altitude camping in my buddies 10x10 bell tent. We did this last year and were super comfortable. We were able to hunt closer to our hunting area and have a much shorter atv ride. A lot less wear and tear on the body! Our camping spot was perfect as we ended up being right in the middle of a elk highway that was so noisy at night, the bugling woke you up throughout the night.
