Shawn Beling, DFW will be giving a talk about the Beaver Relocation Pilot Project Sunday morning. I think this can be a benefit to WCOs and the public standing of trapping in general.
I know a lot of people take off Saturday night but you might want to plan on hanging around to listen to her. She will speak just after breakfast.

All of George Brady's cage trap inventory will be auctioned at the Rendezvous plus I think 10 dozen new KORO rodent traps. I believe there will be about 3 pickup loads of traps.

WOW   :yike:
Darryl picked up another real nice bunch of Raffle items  :IBCOOL:

I also pick up another "Wolf Trap" for our special raffle.  That one was a lot of fun last year, those limited tickets went fast.
So, grab a few extra $ bucks $ and save them for this raffle.

See you there .............. JC   :hello:

Thank you everyone who helped put this together, and all the people who taught the demo's. I learned a lot. Thanks to all the vendors there. Good choices on the raffle items. The food was delicious as always. I'm looking forward to the trapper workshop this winter.

I know you heard me say it before, but if you didn't go to this one you "Really Missed out."
 :yeah:
The weather was fair, not to hot (high 80's to low 90's)
Demos and Speaker were great with some very interesting talks.  They gave a lot of their secretes away, too bad you weren't there to pick up on them.

The Food ...........WOW.........the potluck was great  and some of those dishes, I need the recipes.
Breakfast and Lunch, the gals working the kitchen always put their love into them. :EAT:

The Raffle items, here again, great items.  And the auction itself had a lot of good stuff including a pile of traps from the George Brady Estate.

Vendors: they had everything you needed.  Scott Phillips came all the way up from Oregon.  Thank You Scott.

But the "Camaraderie"  :IBCOOL: alone was worth every penny to get there and see old friends and make new friends.

Plans are already being made for next year's 2024 WSTA Rendezvous.  :IBCOOL:
One of those plans is already locked in and that is we will have a Celebrity from the TV show "Mountain Men"  :yike: that has agreed to come to our rendezvous.
I can't say who he is, so you'll just have to watch the show and figure it out. Soooooooooooooo make your plans to attend.
