Title: This crap has to stop !!
Post by: cryder on July 24, 2023, 10:12:12 PM: SOOOOO,,,,,, I just had to have one of these true send bass lures , that evidently catch 75% more fish , well 75% of zero ix zero so I'm thinking hmmmmm,,,,, but I order the stupid thing anyways , it finnally shows up as I hear the sound of a car being dragged down the street upside down , but no ? It's the huge brown truck pulling up like I'm his last stop before starters at the bar , busts out of the thing and sprints to my door with a pretty good size box , I figger the wife ordered more sheets , I grab the thing , he runs back to his deasle powered tank and takes off like it's not a side street full of cars n kids and pounds down the street sounding like several car wrecks , I stumble into the house. Prolly dizzy from 🫨 Ngy head , I don't know. And I sit down to investigate what the wife has wasted money on this time , and I discover it's something ofine , so I bust it open , styrofoam crap goes everywhere out of this 10×5 box , and three pillow packs , wich are quite fun actually , and at the bottom of this half of a garbage can full of crap sits my little tiny lure OOOOOOH MY. GUH !!! SO WE GOT VIOLENT. Noise pollution , mass deasle burning tanks , wasted plastic cardboard and no where to put it foam chunks , so I can have my tiny lure !!!!!! Never again , I feel like some clown who's to FREEKN lazy to get up n go to the left cal store and support my neighbors ,instead of throwing down a everlasting carbon imprint for my FREEKN lure !! Never again !! So like I've said before GET OUT THERE ! ( And go to the store , cuz elk hunting has been ruined )😆😆😂🫨

Post by: b0bbyg on July 24, 2023, 10:27:11 PM: Lol, sad but true how much wasted material is used to pack these days. I have ordered items that show up in a big box with a small box inside to take up the extra space. The item is next to the small box I. Bubble wrap and pillow packs.
The item would have probably fit in the smaller box.

:dunno: would love to just watch who is packing this stuff.

Paper and cardboard box go through the shredder and into the compost pile,I'm gonna get something out of paying that extra damn shipping charge. Grow more food with it

The little bottles were stacked in a little box that was full of curled pine shavings. I was very impressed, and would love to see more of this.

I know you have one of those Ugly Sticks with a hubble on it so you can hit the beds just right, as you blast your Christian butt rocks across the lake in your bass boat rocket. That said I will not cross the line and state something outrageous like your Yeti yuppie cooler was stocked full of Bud Light. :chuckle:

In 2015 after our move to Oklahoma, we ordered a new Samsung 65 in. TV. It arrived in a box that you had to destroy to get the TV out. The problem was, it was full of those Styrofoam peanuts! By the time I got the TV out of the now destroyed box, I had Styrofoam peanuts all over our living room. Of course that is right when my wife walks in the door from shopping. The look on her face was classic! :o
I was able to sweep up all the Styrofoam peanuts and put them in a Hefty bag, and put it in the trash can. I put the trash cans out out for pickup the next day. Next morning I am working from home, and a serious storm with high winds is blowing through. I remembered it was trash day so I looked out the window. My two huge trash cans were still standing, but being blown sliding down the street followed by many other cans of my neighbors, and the lid had blown open on my can. There was a solid stream of Styrofoam peanuts being sucked up into the air! :yike:
I was dreading the mess I would have to cleanup after the storm. :bash:
After the storm died down later that afternoon, I went out to survey the damage. About 20 garbage cans were down the street up against the fence, mine included. I grabbed my two cans and dragged them back to my house, then it downed on me, the Garbage truck had not came by yet. Both my cans were empty!
I saw no sign of all the trash or the Styrofoam peanuts anywhere! :dunno:
I brought my now empty cans home and put them away. I looked up and my wife had that look again, and asked if I cleaned up the mess? I said "what mess?" and walked away :chuckle:

I still wonder where all the garbage and Styrofoam peanuts ended up :dunno:
