I tried to grab it by the tail to slow it down so we could talk, but it had the upper hand with the short tail and all.

Lady down the street from us has a domestic cat that looks exactly like that. She walks it every evening on a long lease and says it's some special breed I can't remember the name of.Bengal?
This is seriously along the lines of what I was thinking, but it’s got the Bob tail so it was messing with me.

haven't actually seen her in a couple weeks (been mostly on the eastside) but will ask her when I see her again. I know she keeps in on a leash because she says it takes off and disappears for a week or so when it can.
