Title: Interesting new muzzy bullet.
Post by: HntnFsh on August 11, 2023, 06:50:28 PM: I love the ELDX bullets in my 7mm mag. Not sure what to think of them for a muzzloader bullet though.

I like that they are on the heavier side (340 grain).
I shoot 400 grain Harvester hard casts.
I worry about lighter muzzy bullets on elk.

I look forward to a report.

Post by: Jimmy33 on August 12, 2023, 05:57:24 AM: I shot them out of my knight the other day and I was pretty impressed with the accuracy. 1.5” groups in gusty wind. Ill have a better idea when I have a calmer day to shoot but so far pretty impressive.

If I try them it would most likely be the 290 grain bullets. I think thats close to a perfect weight in a nonlead bullet.

I have shot both the 290 grainers and the 340 ELDX. Both shot well. The 340 ELDX was a little bit more accurate but both were great.
