Title: Colonel Bob Wilderness
Post by: AKBowman on June 04, 2009, 05:59:14 PM: I was wondering if anyone had ever hunted Colonel Bob Wilderness or surrounding area? Would it be worth the time to invest in scouting up there? Thanks.

I have never had one get agressive with me. They just look away when you pass by...

Not so.

Elk Area 6064 is basically along the valley floor. The Wilderness area starts partway "up the hill" and is open to anyone.

Not the first time I've heard something like that in that area.
