Title: Kudos to courteous bear hunter

Not sure if you're on here, but this is a shout out to the fellow 'son of Skagit County' I bumped into Saturday morning up in the Backcountry. You quickly recognized that I was already sitting on that meadow and generously backed out. I greatly appreciate the gesture and you showed your son what hunter etiquette is all about. Best of luck to you for the rest of the season friend!

This is a pleasant post with all the other negative post of late!!  Hope they are on here to see this gesture.  I'm in the camp that most hunters are good people.

For a half a second,I thought this post was about me.

About two weeks ago,son and I pulled up to a gate.
Another guy was there, but there was no tracks from his pickup.
Where he had been camped there. We talked for a few moments.
I said well heck, you obviously got here before us. So we backed off.
And decided to go to a different gate.
I really did want to go in there, cause I needed to retrieve a game cam that had been soaking for 2.5 months.
We came back a few days later and got the cam.

But ya we as hunters should be a little respectful.
Glad to hear it all went well.
