hello i have hunted in the cowiche unit for the last several years. never for a cow but spike only. I would say for cows to focus along cowiche mill road down low if you get some whether. Iv heard its an easy tag. We generally hunt up higher and run into cows from time to time.Thank you for the info we will be camping at oak creek feed station i have hunted up by windy ridge and the flume area <<<< But that was modern back a few years we have three cow tags thank you for the reply

Any luck? My dad killed his cow on Sunday morningnope tag soup were on them opening day then the next couldnt get a shot was all over that unit nothing this year
