I have a new CVA optima v2 that has worked flawlessly for both deer and elk season. I came home Fri. and went to clean it Sat. morning and it will not open. Not a single problem the last 2 weeks as I said. Any ideas?

Breech plug not screwed in tight or rust on the hinge pin
Guy at elk camp this last week had same problem
Pull the break open lever and crack it over your knee , it will open get everything clean and greased good

Yep I think that is what it was, must have been some rust on the hinge pin, it finally opened with a little persuasion. Lessen learned, oil new gun. Absolutely LOVE this gun.
Thanks for the reply

a little breech grease works wonders on the hinge pin
