Sorry for your loss. Just got back from South Dakota while hunting with my vizsla.

Are you looking for pet/companion or hunting purposes.

I bred mine with strong hunting background, and the pups were sold before they were born. We have 2 people on a wait list for the next breeding in 6-9 months, maybe longer.

I know of a litter right now, but not sure about OFA testing, pedigree, etc. I can ask if you like, or consider getting on a waiting list for future breeding which I can offer input there as well for solid breeders in the area.

South Dakota has always been a bucket-list hunt for me. They one I never got to do was a squirrel hunt in south somewhere with my v. I got the dog that just passed for hunting, and we did some grouse, pheasants etc, could never get the retrieve down so he didn’t work out too well for ducks and eventually got gunshy, but ended up being the most amazing companion dog I’ve ever seen and got a good solid 16 years from. Whatever dog I do end up with will definitely hunt but will also be a companion if that makes any sense. But definitely not looking for a garden variety house dog

The pedigree/genetics and bloodlines are important to me, I’d want a dog with good blood and no history of the main vizsla ailments like the hips and what not

If we were to find a litter, we’d prefer a female I think, but we also believe that the right pup chooses you, not the other way around

But yeah I’d love to know more about that litter

Thanks

-Erik

Hey Erik,

The person that currently has pups is down to 1 male. I don't know anything more than that.

Reputable breeders will get OFA certifications on hips, elbows, eyes, and thyroid tests, prior to breeding. My female "Dolly" is from Walters Vizsla's, He is on facebook and you can go back and look at photos from her litter. Dolly was bred with "Cinder" from Alpine Vizslas in Moses Lake. Alpine Vizslas has a website that is packed with photos and info. Jessica is a vizsla fanatic. Cinder stayed with us for several days and my wife fell in love with him, he is an exceptional dog and his pedigree proves it.

Let me know if I can help any further.

Regards,
Ron

Hey Ron,

Any chance ya got a contact for that guy? I mean I’m willing to wait for the right dog but I’d still be interested in seeing what’s out there

Thanks so much

Was that an Oliver pup by chance from Redemption?

This pup has no connection to Alpine or myself. It's an acquaintance of a close friend that asked if I knew anyone interested in a Vizsla pup. At the time I said no, but then Night Goat posted his inquiry, and I got info in case it worked out. I believe there were only 3-4 pups in the litter. The lady is keeping 1 and I'm told she has given one to someone that has serious health issues. 1 female left?

We have an Alpine boy and just got another pup. Both are from Oliver litters.  Jessica and Daniel are awesome.

Seth,

IMO you have some of the best hunting vizsla's in the western region. I person would be hard pressed to find that quality anywhere else.

Do yours "roo" ?

My 3 1/2 year old "roo's" all the time.  The pup is only 10-11 weeks old and I haven't heard him do it yet.  I agree, they are amazing dogs!
