That's impressive you can remember things from 86 years ago. I can barely remember stuff from a couple years ago😆🤣😆We have a few old pictures, those are treasures.👍 we also have a guy or two that remember the stories around the fire, complete with pen and paper. I highly recommend 👍
Journals are a must. I still pour through these pictures and journals quite often. Some going back to my great grandma. 1915 she and great grandpa came into the Methow. 50, 60, 70 years ago, yes I do remember. I remember seeing stuff only some on here have heard stories of. Sit around a fire, take note. Listen to the stories. Listen to the memories. Take notes of attire, hats and such. Take note of the attitude or the excitement of a young man or AN old man comming into camp. I have been very blessed to have been involved in many.
Yep, keep track. I will love the memories and the history. It’s some of my most special memories.

1 for me. Never have put in for the second deer tag etc, hell I don’t put in for the Quality tags.I remember one year as a camp, 1937 or 38 we have pictures of 31 hanging, that was just our clan, there was about 6 other families in camp, if I remember right there may have been around 60 or 70 total hanging in Little Bellingham that particular year, I remember my dad telling stories of trick or treating around the camp and seeing all the bucks hanging in the firelight. He would tell that story to his grandkids and great grandkids. What a site that must have been to a little boy who loved to hunt.

How old are you? I'm not being sarcastic but if you remember hunting in 1937 or 38 you must be at least 90.

That is awesome Doug and SO many of us enjoy our shooting, just like Bigmacc's stories! Some have been around long enough to remember reading about your hunts with the old long bow too :IBCOOL:
We keep a journal at our cabin, it is a requirement that visitors log an entry before leaving, who was there, when you were there, what you did, what you saw or heard, etc. It is so fun to read through that journal and its only 13 years old. But we have all the work we've done, all the kids deer hunting wins and fails, the fishing trips etc. No one loves reading that journal more than my mom! Her and dad bought the land, and we built the cabin for memories. And while she only gets over a couple times a year, she can read the excitement of all the friends and family as they visit. Its pretty cool!

One day at camp the fella with big feet came in. He had a buck down where me, grandpa an your dad wanted nothing to do with. He was a big bugger. Grandpa used to tell him to not shoot anything down that hill. He did.
