Wow this is an off year so far. Deer are extinct where I normally find them. Blue bird skies and bright moon aren’t helping, but still, acute lack of sign isn’t making me think they are around. If I was still doing my 500 count, I’d be behind.

I'm guessing there are folks on here that are almost happy to hear that. I can just hear people say "Finally! Bone knows what it's like to be normal" :chuckle:
In all seriousness, not a great deer year. Seems age class lower and just less in general.

You’ll be fine, even Hank Aaron had a few day slumps here and there.👍 I would bet you’ll get on “streak” then Katy, bar the doors!😆

I saw a couple good bucks today down low chasing a doe. Last year there were only dinks in this area. One luke warm doe can sure change the landscape in a hurry.

I’ll check in with you bone, I’m going into an area I told you of.

I got a good one tonight. Best of all, it’s not quite as chilly tonight. Have a good hunt.

This is Bones version of the drag out teaser story of those who killed good critters. :chuckle: :chuckle:
JK Doug. I like others, always enjoy all the pics you share with us each fall. THANK YOU for doing so!

👍 like I said, it goes against my grain but under the circumstances it’s something I need to do.

When Bone's not finding deer, that's not a good sign. :yike:
