Title: Marten trapping
Post by: Kales15 on November 10, 2023, 04:04:38 PM: Any one help a fellow trapper out I want to build some martin boxes for the koro rat traps. I was wondering what size boxes people are using/building. Any help would be awsome.

I’ve trapped them heavy in Ak and the newspaper tubes worked best for me and I tried everything. They stack super well inside ea other, cold doesn’t bother them and they are light.

Post by: Humptulips on November 11, 2023, 07:16:23 AM: I went out and measured mine. 4 1/2" x 5" x 10" all inside diameter. I'm not trapping marten though but that does fit the KORO rodent trap. It seems like the marten guys are using longer boxes though.

But be smart, careful and polite where setting traps as you might be setting near sets already made
