I have a blacktail that Id like to have European mounted, looking for recommendations in SW WA? Pics if you got em, Thank you!!!
-
There's someone in Washougal who has the beetles.
-
Joel Swecker at Black River Taxidermy in Rochester. If you go to the website and click on the galleries tab, there's several photos of Euro mounts. He uses beetles.

S&D skullworks washougal has done two elk for me and some sheep, moose, and caribou for my friends. They have a FB page if you want pictures. Never had anything done by Joel at BRT but have met him and talked with him a few times. He's a stand up dude fighting for WA state hunters. I'd take anything to him in a heartbeat if I lived closer.

Bones and Bugs out of North Bend does great work! My Roosevelt from this year.

Save yourself the money and do it yourself. Pretty easy if you have a pressure washer and a big pot to boil it in. You should be able to get it done in a few hours. Check out White Bone Creations on YouTube.

Exactly, I started doing it myself the last couple years for my kids and I and I just enjoy doing it, they turn out really good.

My dog insists we do it ourselves so she can eat the scraps.

I do most of my skulls myself, but the really good trophies I send out to be done by bugs. Boiling just seems to destroy all the cool nose cartilage, which is especially cool in the predator skulls.

Another vote for Skookumchuck skullworks in Centralia. Does good work and has reasonable prices.

If it's who I used a couple years ago, he has switched to maceration.
