Started trying to do my own euro's the last few years mostly my kids and I and occasionally some buddies. I really enjoy just everything from the hunt to processing the meat and creating a euro for a lifetime of memories. This year I got to do my daughters first buck which is going to be very memorable for us both. Thought I'd share a few I did up this year. Happy holidays everyone.

Looks great. I’m with you….I like doing it all. I’m in the whitening phase of my sons elk and three bear. Just boiled my buck today. The more I do, the easier it gets.
Your kids will remember you did the euros too which makes it more special.

Looks good! I have a bear head in the freezer that I have been sitting on that I would like to do for my first euro.

Bear skulls are great to learn with. Super easy and hard to mess up.

Yes I think every year I find something different to try and make it easier , it's fun and keeps me out of trouble. Good luck on your projects!

Love doing my own mounts. Had to fabricate a kettle for the moose and the antlers were a pain to work around but it turned out good.

Before boiling was considered evil, I can remember boiling a bunch of skulls on the stove one day when mom was out of the house. It was extra stinky, so I added cinnamon. Lol. I about got my own hide tanned upon her return. Memories are just as priceless as the trophies.
Some talented folks on here. I love seeing the different projects.

Purposely broke the nose bones off the second photo to glue them on for effect. Didn’t whiten either and just left them natural bone color. Really like the way they turned out.

One of my all time favorites. My sons moose.

Those turned out great!! I love the burls as well. I need to keep my eyes open for some next time I'm in the woods. Once in awhile I'll find a couple at a garage sale and have to pick them up, great for any project . Great job!!
