Our MUCH LOVED chocolate Lab Timber (whom we named our business after) passed away early this morning after a short battle with pneumonia. Although she left us a bit too early, we had a great 11 years with her. All of our dogs are very much our family, but Timber was a little extra special to us.
It hurts like hell to have her gone, but her sweet personality will live on in our memories, and her name will always be honored as our business name.
Goodbye sweet Timber, we LOVE YOU.
Say hello to Echo for us. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Rest In Peace Timber.
I laid my Chocolate Lab "Yukon" to rest 15 years ago. Still pains me to this day. So very sorry for your loss.

:'( :'(

Sorry to hear this, hardest part of having them in our lives.
-
So hard to go through that. We're closer to our critters than most of the humans in our lives! I'm sure you gave Timber an incredible life.
Rest in peace, Timber.

Sorry to hear this. We’re “all in” on our dogs so I know the hurt. Lost one last year

Never enough time with a good dog.

Dang, really sorry to hear about this. Tough thing to go through.
I've been hearing more about this contagious respiratory illness that going around. Apparently very lethal and maybe not treatable. Sorry to ask at this time, but any idea if this factored in? The more awareness about this the better!

It's OK to ask.
That was something we were wondering too. According to vet, no cases at their clinic, and none in our county, or connecting counties. We have never kenneled our dogs, and she has not been around any other dogs to contract it from.
Xrays/blood work both done twice, most likely was pnuemonia, with a very slight possibility of cancer.
Thanks to all for the well wishes. She was special and has been much harder than the last 3.

Sorry for your loss. It never gets any easier. We put our Golden down last August, and we still think we hear her walking around during the nite.

Sorry Chris, its so hard to lose a family member. On a side note, its pretty cool you will be reminded of her daily through your business.

The hardest part about pets is the bond you create and knowing it can be a short window.

Oh man my little yellow female lab turned 11 in September and she is aging fast. I dread the day that I know will come. So sorry for your loss. Beautiful dog.

Beautiful dog. One of the hardest things in life is when we have to say goodbye..
-
So tough to lose a wonderful pet. It is never easy. I'm sorry for your loss.

Labs can spread so much love in their life. They're a positive force in the world and it's hard to say goodbye to someone with such a pure heart. Sorry for your loss.
