Eveyone thinking about going to T-Mobile may want to watch this video. I know this is just about companies' texts but most likely will expand.

No evidence that this is true. How does a company fine one $2000?

Definitely seems like a step in the wrong direction.
I think the only people they could fine would be their own customers.
More creeping socialism and loss of freedom as I am pretty sure other carriers will follow the leader and try to rid the world of scary guns and the companies that sell them.

This isn't going after consumers as of right now. This is going after non consumers like companies that send out SMS and MMS text messages about what is listed. It is super easy to track text messages because some sort pf number needs to be associated with it in order to send a text.

Other forums are filled with speculation about T Mobile going after 2A texters. There is no evidence of that, or of a new TOS. Just their established ability to end spammers and phishers

I am not a conspiracy nut but this guy has been pretty up on things and spot on 2A stuff. Can it be done? Yes, it can. Am I bust T Mobiles chops just putting info out there. Wouldn't surprise me since HQ is right here is WA.

:yeah:
I believe it's aimed towards campaign spams err text messages (specifically from Trump campaign, Biden will get a pass :chuckle: )

I just signed up for Tmobile home internet last Friday, much better pricing than Verizon I have now. I'll have to see if content seems like it's filtered?

This is supposedly only for text messaging. An example would be NWTF, which does nationwide gun raffles and sends out a mass text about it. Of course, this is only for members and that are signed up to receive SMS messaging from NWTF. That would violate the tier 3 one.

Please update this topic if it seems like Tmobile does in fact sensor NWTF messaging. I'll change carriers, I don't want to support the enemy of sportsman in any way.

Was using NWTF as an example of a non profit that in the policy in the video said it will target. Also this is for businesses to like PSA or Brownell's. This is also for none T-Mobile customers. Beyond what has been on the internet I don't know much beyond that. If I find info out I will let you all know. I have sent this up to the NWTF chain. Hopefully I will hear something back from them soon.
