Are those blacktail considered the same species of blacktail as the ones in western WA? They look so much more like a mule deer.

For the books they're considered the same as long as they were killed far enough west

Crazy any bucks from WA could compare in the books with bucks from south western Oregon/northern western Cal.

Probably Cascade Blacktail, the other category is Colombian Blacktail. Just a guess though
