I hope this gets challenged in court :dunno:
-
transit stations or facilities used for public transportation
This is a ban on poor people carrying in public who need to travel but do not own a car.
Let them shoot cake I guess.
-
Even more areas that will be targets for future whackjobs out to hurt someone.

If you still have a CPL you can open carry in these places. Whats the point of this stupid ass bill? Who is open carrying without a permit to make so many people angry the house senate and the governor passed this? Seems like a feel good bill that changes absolutely nothing.

It's a chess game. They are playing the long game. Next year, ban CPL's. Or make it too prohibative to aquire one.

The point is the same as the lifeboat drills on cruise ships. It makes no one safer. It's only meant to make people "feel" safer. Inslee, as usual, is pandering to the anti-2A crowd.

No next year Liz Berry wants you to have to get a permit to purchase a firearm.

The point is, Inslee wants the thugs to feel safer in all the places it's going to be banned. It's meant to empower the thugs, knowing that there is nobody open carrying or concealing a firearm in the mentioned places, so it's open season for the bad guys. So who's protected now? Business as usual for me. I will not be deterred by this ruling.

With the D's, its all about "feelings" and their "emotional state of being", it is never about Truth, Right or common sense!! Its what makes them a D!! Stalin and Moe would be proud of them!!

If I read it correctly, concealed carry with permit is allowed in those places. Did I misinterpret?

You're right on your reading. I just included the CCW cause we all know that's coming next. :)

With these clowns, there's always going to be something more restrictive in the wings. I fear that WA will have to go completely in the dumps like CA before any majority will want change.

If a person has a concealed weapons permit or whatever they're calling them these days, it changes nothing. Were people really walking around in Zoo's and libraries with firearms at ready? What's the point of open carrying in a Library or a Zoo? I'm sure the Baboons are impressed and the Giraffe were terrified but what's the point? If someone is bent on robbing, killing or destruction, wouldn't the person wearing the weapon where it can be openly seen by everyone be the first person targeted? I thought the whole point of a concealed weapons permit, is no one knows who has a firearm and who doesn't. Don't get me wrong, the law is a colossal waste of government time, money and effort but in the big scheme of things, it changes nothing.

I agree, concealed carry is just that, if you were a thug, the first one you want to take out would be the person with open carry. Outta sight, outta mind, no need to get all bunched up.

Another law that just affects law abiding citizens. The nut-job mass murderers gotta love this.
