This was a dream hunt for me. I’ve always loved watching dogs work and finally got a chance to be there when they pushed a big Tom up a tree but he wouldn’t stay there!!! This hunt got a little western and one I won’t soon forget.

Dirk is a great story teller ;)
We bumped the pack packing the cat up the hill and he was right below us. We yelled “pack” and he watched it roll by. LoL

Nice cat and tough country. I've treed a couple in that type of country, but it always had deeper snow. Great shot of the cat on the rock! Really brings back a lot of great memories. Congrats!!
