Title: BT fawn drop
Post by: addicted1 on May 15, 2024, 10:56:39 AM
Just curious how early people are seeing fawns drop for low elevation BT. I’ve seen some very large does looking to pop any minute, and having a hard time thinking they’ll make it to June.

Interesting, I honestly had no idea there were deer on the island. Sounds like they started showing up in the 2000’s?

I'm watching my pregger does thinking any day now. I haven't seen any spotted ones on camera yet.

Was at Camp Casey in Whidbey Island last week, May 8-10th and we saw several fawns. They looked to be less than 2 weeks old, probably closer to 1 week.

I know this is about BT.
Haven't seen any WT fawns yet.
At least in my neck of the wood.

A doe dropped a fawn in our field Saturday. Pretty cool to see the little one stand up for the first time!

Been a few posted in the last few days on the local social pages (Gig Harbor area).
Seen a few yearlings all alone this week on the cell cams from north central WA but no fawns yet.

Saw 2 babies a couple days old with the momma on the side of I5 in Olympia a couple days ago. They were eating in the black berry bushes standing on the shoulder of the freeway.
