Anyone see any blackhorn 209 around ? Thanks Jason

If you can’t find it locally, it’s been popping up online this spring. Put a ‘Notify me’ on Hodgton, Midway, ML.com and other sites, then buy it within about 10 minutes of getting the email. The price is breathtaking with shipping.

Picked up a container at the Sportsman’s in Albany Oregon last week while on a trip. It was the last one on the shelf. All the Washington stores were out of stock at the time but might be worth watching them closely for a restock.

Big J’s in Orting is supposed to be getting some anytime. Didn’t have it on Friday but was supposed to be on the way.
-
Sportsman in everet had it a couple weeks ago
-
probably going to look for an Alternative. The price and availability are silly.
-
Big J’s got their shipment of BH $89 each

To me Blackhorn is worth it , the price is stupid as hell but how consistent it shoots and how easy it is to reload many many shots before having to clean is awesome
-
Didn't it cost something like $40 before covid?
-
$36.99 for 10 oz from an order of mine in 2018. It's 8 oz now.
Primers were around $30 too.
-
Yeah 8oz for 90 $ silly .
-
In stock if anyone wants to pony up the money.

What do you think the shelf life is of 209 once the container has been opened and exposed to humidity? I have not noticed a problem year to year. Thoughts?

If stored properly…..65 - 75 degrees in a dry place….forever.

Was owned by Western Powders before, now Hodgen. I email them every month or so and tell them they should be ashamed of themselves for raising the price. They claim the material prices went up, but their 777 and others have not. More people should complain. when I run out, Im done with them.
-
I don’t even use it and at this point won’t even think about it.
 I’ll stick with my 777 pellets unfortunately Hodgden owns that too :bash:

@Parasite
Has a jug for $49 for sale right now

Sounds good. Not sure my temperature fluctuations were quite that tight but hopefully it will be fine. Have a good season.
