Title: Eastern WA Fall Turkey Hunting
Post by: n3wcomb on August 26, 2024, 04:10:06 PM
Hi everyone, last year was my first year hunting and I began with spring turkeys. Went to public land in NE WA and had no luck. I'd really love to get my first turkey this fall and it'd be awesome to stick near Spokane or Pullman. I've been e-scouting a lot of local public land and will hopefully get the chance to get boots on ground before opening day but its tough being a student at the same time. Has anyone here had any luck in Turnbull or down near the Snake river? Got no idea where to start and none of my friends know how to turkey hunt.

Can't exactly tell you where the best spot is for you.
My advise is hit it hard in the morning. These cooler cold mournings  seems to me like they are on the move.
Same with any rain, seen a ton of turkeys near the roads the other day just after a storm.
Good luck out there.
