Wow, how stupid can one be?
-
Make good soup
-
No speak english......
-
Pretty stupid apparently. Unfortunately the penalty will probably be pretty light. Was this Edmonds?
-
Motto of Bucket Fisherman --- "Put in Bucket" 2" Sculpin, 8" Sandab, or long piece of seaweed.
Even if it's not on their own line, they will tell you simply and point down " Put in Bucket" and if you do, big smile. But no other English.
-
Following along to see what they get for fines. That was a lot of illegal crabs!
-
How long have they been getting away with it. Not just one day. Play stupid - get lectured like you are a kid, slap on the wrist.
-
Every time as far as fines go, I don’t think they care. I watched a group at Twanoh state park
Pretty soon one of the rangers came down in his little runaround rig I said hey how are you doing? He says good. I said you watching those guys down there. Oh yeah he says
I talk to him after he went down and confronted them and made them dump three or four big white coolers, full of oysters in the shell, told me it cost about 1800 bucks

Chances are they will use the defense that they didn't understand the law and they were just doing what they did in the home country. Any fines will be never recouped or reduced to nothing more than a stern warning if they promise not to do it again.
-
Unfortunately allot of them are associated with restaurants...
We busted a group on the canal years ago that actually bought a waterfront house as home base for illegal/ over possession harvest and processing.
Fines and boat seizures don't phase them.
-
I am not even going to watch that as I already know how it will go and it will just piss me off.
-
They will just switch to cats and dogs along with tame geese to kill and sell. Send them back if they can't follow the law.
-
WDFW could fund their whole operations with fines at the Edmonds and Alki piers

What do cats and dogs have to do with poaching crabs?
