Title: Browning bar mk3 dbm legal in WA?
Post by: Moe the Sleaze on October 09, 2024, 12:27:11 PM
Is the Browning bar mk3 dbm legal to purchase in Wa? It’s a semi-auto with a 10rd box, but has none of the “features” that are listed under the law restricting assault rifles.
Is there a definitive list of semi-autos legal for purchase?

Since there is no such thing as an "Assault Rifle"...  :dunno:

Sportsman's allows the purchase when you choose WA state-compliant.

Yeah, I get that standard BARs are legal. I’m asking about the carbine-length dbm model.
Who determines compliance? What do FFL dealers use?

The big box stores all seem to just instantly assume that the mk3 dbm is non-compliant, but frankly, I’m not convinced thats right. If there are any FFLs on here with definitive word, I’d love to have that discussion. TIA

 :dunno:

Call your local FFL. It doesn't appear to be compliant (legal) in WA.
