After missing one yesterday evening and almost doubling up with sister it was Payton’s day today. We had been seeing bucks all morning and were setup open 3 we’re going to come up the draw toward us after the disappeared in the bottom. After about an hour we decided to get up and go stalk a different buck. Right when we got up my daughter spotted ears coming over the ridge above us. We got back down and watched. 6 does and a buck behind them. He finally presented a broadside shot at 224 yards and she smoked him. Heart shot and he didn’t go 20! Both girls tagged out opening weekend. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20241013/ff1bc73d7211f9fa0f70d6b904dc95d2.jpg)
