Title: Deer hunters of 2009, Charlies Taxidermy needs deer capes please!
Post by: bucklucky on June 19, 2009, 06:22:10 PM: I am hurting for whitetail capes the most and blacktails a close second. I am faring pretty well on muley capes but if you get them I will take them. Really needing big capes of good mature bucks, but even smaller 2 and 3 point (like a 3 1/2 year old) capes are good too. NoT so much small forkey and spike capes. I do horn mount trades and also credit towards your account or work you have in . If cash flow is good and I can afford it I will pay cash . Keep me in mind, I wipped out my whitetail stash this year and most my blacktails are gone also, I do have a few nice blacktails in reserve though.

On a few things why? That wont hit this year , probably next.

Hopefully I can connect on something worthwhile this year, but unless it is a monster, I will only do a euro or a horn mount so the capes are yours. Will keep you posted as the success rolls in (or not).

I know how to skin them out to the head, but I don't trust myself to go any farther if you;re going to use them for mounts. Can that credit carry over untill I shoot a really big one for a shoulder mount? We'll keep you in mind in Nov.

Yes it can carry over if you like. I just enter it in my computer system to keep track. Everyone has an individual account.

Post by: BoomWhop on September 16, 2009, 10:11:32 PM: Going with a big group and we usually hook up with a couple 2 or 3 medium size 3x3+ whitetails, I would love to send you a couple of capes, I am not really sure how to skin out the head, any advice, or could I bring it to ya head and all? Lots of salt? Also I drew a eastern washington any bull tag and I hope to have a bull to send your way and I don't want to mess it up. Thanks for your input.
