MY CAMERA WAS OUT FOR THE FIRST WEEK AND SOMEONE STOLE IT ALREADY. MIDDLE OF FRICKING NOWHERE, COMPLETELY CAMOED OUT WITH A SPANKING NEW PAINT JOB, AND HIDDEN VERY WELL. GUESS THATS WHAT I GET FOR NOT LOCKING IT UP. MY FAULT BUT WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO BE LOW LIFE SCUM SUCKERS. HAD TO BE POT GROWERS COMING IN AT NIGHT. LESSON #2, DONT PUT TRAIL CAMERAS WITH A FLASH NEAR A POT GROW. :dunno: THEY EVEN LEFT MY TRIPOD.

Slinger- Sorry to here that man. it is really sad that we even have to lock them. >:( >:(

I hear you, I went to get the .22 cricket to go shot with my girls. I keep all my guns locked in the gun safe but it is not there. I vaguely remember borrowing it out but for the life of me I can't remember who I lent it to. I guess it's not stolen but if I borrow a gun I return it promptly.

sorry for the loss. Kind of crappy that we have to lock them up.
-
that really sucks, I really like the tripod idea but that would be hard to lock up :bash:
-
Sorry man that sucks, had one on my parents place that backs up to Weyco, posted like crazy, and some A-Hole still trespassed and stole it.

Get your revenge by finding the grow.

I put a back-up camera behind mine with the infra red I am trying to catch a thief. The front camera is old and I hope they grab it and I get there picture with the other one,

Sorry to hear this >:( You have to lock them to trees if you want to keep them. This is just too common no matter where you are. There is always someone else who will be in your "secret" areas. Brush pickers, for example, are everywhere. Find a van on the side of the road and you can bet there are 12 pickers scouring the woods nearby.

I would be at a juncture in the road if I found the grow. Do I poison it, call the cops, or both? Since I am a very vindictive little Finn.

Could be Big Foot has moved out your way :dunno: If he has, now my cameras are safe :chuckle: :chuckle:

I know how you feel... I'm still all worked up about mine being stolen last year!

I'd be REALLY temped to spray it with something NASTY...that doesnt KILL THE PLANTS. But that will REALLY mess with the users.
MOST of the theft in my area is drug related...stealing to get goods to sell to get the next fix.
I have NO USE for that.

I posted on some other threads, here is what I use to deter theft, I have had good success with them.
