Son got an unusual Blacktail. My wife says it looks like it has arthritis in its antlers
-
Yes he did!
Very nice, unusual buck!
-
Wow. That’s definitely wall worthy!

Awesome 💯

Amazing buck for sure, congrats to him

Very nice!

That is a gnarly buck! Very cool, congrats to him!
-
Awesome!
Why do you think the bases are light colored?
-
Not sure about the bases. I thought it was bark from rubbing.
-
COOL buck
Its a doe identifying as a buck=glued on horns......OR...he got the water a little too deep on his pre euro boil. :chuckle:
-
Year after year he just knocks them down! That’s a cool buck
-
Those bases are unique. It also looks like the tips of his tines are light colored also. I think whatever he was rubbing on didn't get much transfer to those spots. What a dandy and perfect name. How much history does he have with this buck?
-
Very cool! Way to go!
-
perfect Halloween buck, it even has the squiggly scary font look!
-
They have been after him for a couple years.
-
Awesome buck! Just looks like the bases are dry from body heat maybe and the rest of his antlers wet still? Let us know how they look in a few days.
-
The body heat theory is a good theory. I just went and looked at them again, and that bottom portion of the antlers is still quite a bit. Lighter must’ve been some kind of bark stuck in them that didn’t get as dark
