Title: Bow for Kids?
Post by: addicted1 on November 18, 2024, 09:48:38 PM: What are some good bow options for an 8YO with now real experience? Not looking to kill an animal, just trying to get my daughter into target shooting with me.

Post by: Special T on November 19, 2024, 10:16:43 AM: I got my daughter a mission. They will grow with your kid. I'm impressed with them for the sheer fact you don't have to buy a new bow as they grow. I also love stick bows but I think it's easier for the kids to hit the target from a young age

Thanks for the reminder…..I’ll pull it out and post pics tomorrow with all the specs. It will be for sale and you will have frost dibs before I post it officially.

Both will be for sale / posted in the classifieds by this weekend, but thought I would give you first dibs.

Years ago I was quite involved in youth archery so built a plie of nice kids bows. Last week some of them turned up in a friend’s dusty attic. There are high quality , nicely designed good looking bows 56” RH 20# +- @ 24”. Price? Free to HuntWa but you gotta promise to pass it along when your kidoutgrows it. Located in Gig Harbor. (Several in photo already gone)

*** Keep it simple for the kids, hand / eye coordination and all that….
